Christmas In Exeter
Exeter Cathedral Market
Starts Saturday 16th November 2019
An exciting mix of local and continental traders, showcasing the best of festive food, crafts and gifts. Enjoy with local bands, carol singers and choirs to entertain traders and customers. A really lovely place to browse for present and escape the high street.
The market will open daily until 19th December.
Christmas Lights In Exeter Princesshay
Saturday 16th November
Princesshay shopping centre is marking Christmas with the annual Christmas Lights Switch On, live festive performances and entertainment.
Every Thursday late night shoppers can enjoy magnificent live performances in Princesshay Square.
Thursday 21st Nov – The Diamond – a stunning solo aerial dance inside an inflatable colour-changing dome. Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm.
Thursday 28th Nov – Winter Statues bring you a spellbinding dance, performed on a plinth, while the enchanting Snow Queen passes by in her Snow Globe, captivating children and adults alike. The Winter Statues are in Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm and the Snow Globe will be walking around Princesshay at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30pm.
Thursday 5th Dec – Spark! a mesmerising street theatre show that combines high-impact drumming with kaleidoscopic lighting. Spark! will be performing throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm &7pm.
Thursday 19th Dec – Calvos Lux will perform magical tricks whilst giant bauble inspired characters, The Glitter Belles will be gliding through the centre spreading festive cheer.
Kingston Maurward College Macmillan Christmas Shopping Fair
Saturday 16th November, 10am until 4pm and Sunday 17 November, 10am until 3pm
You will be spoilt for choice with over stalls selling a wide range of quality gifts including Italian cashmere and silk knitwear, luxury leather, canvas bags and accessories, beautiful and unusual luxury shawls and scarves, exciting, exclusive and affordable jewellery, finest organic soaps and skin care products, hand painted tableware and accessories, gourmet smoked products, award winning mint chocolates and teas and so much more.

Politmore House Christmas Fair
Sunday 17th Nov – 10am – 3pm
Visit Politmore House Christmas Fair near Exeter this November for a chance to browse arts, crafts and other locally made gifts – perfect for Christmas. On the outskirts of Exeter (Pinhoe) this is an easy to reach venue.
Start the Christmas Season off with a day out at the annual Poltimore House Christmas Fair. Enjoy the atmosphere of 30 stalls with a range of locally produced gifts, many hand-made. Then stop and relax with refreshments, hot and cold, from the site Cafe whilst listening to the musicians who will be playing in the Chapel and House.

Local artisans will be selling their arts and crafts or demonstrating their skills at the Epye Makers Market near Bridport. A great chance to find unique locally handmade gifts. 10am – 4pm

Dorset Food and Drink Christmas Fair
Athelhampton House near Dorchester
Saturday 23rd November and Sunday 24th November from 10am
Get into the Festive Spirit early this year with Dorset Food and Drink’s Christmas Fair. Set in the beautiful Athelhampton House and Gardens near Dorchester, this is a unique opportunity to sample the wide selection of delicious produce the county has to offer.
FREE park & ride. The Park & ride will start at Dorset County Council, County Hall, Entry is also only £3.50 per person.

Killerton House Christmas
Starts 23rd November
Take some time to explore Killerton National Trust this Christmas and the themed Christmas display in the house. It’s been a year in the planning and three weeks setting up!
Book a time slot to ensure you get to look around when you want to. Last year the house was stunning and the attention to detail means there is something to be enjoyed by all ages. Normal NT admission charges apply unless you are already a member.

Kingston Lacy at Christmas
House and Illuminated Gardens

Discover what Christmas would have been like in a large country house and see the beautiful Christmas lights. Once again the garden at Kingston Lacy will be illuminated until 7pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening over the Christmas period. (check the events pages for more detailed times, house tours are timed and need to be booked).
