There are plenty of displays to choose from in this area. Please check individual websites for ticket prices and timings as not all information was published at time of writing.. Remember most events are raising money for charity or are self funding so please be generous in your support.

Offwell (Near Honiton) ~ Wednesday 23rd October
Offwell village bonfire and fireworks night starts off the season over the Devon half term. Entrance £5 for adults, children under 14 free. Gates open at 6pm. Enjoy the children’s lantern parade at 6.30 pm Bar, BBQ and sweet stall. Fireworks at 7.15pm.
West Bay near Bridport ~
Saturday 26th October
Head to East Beach at Westbay from 5.30pm. Enjoy the fireworks, bonfire and live music. The fireworks will start at 8pm.
This year’s Bonfire By The Beach promises to a great event with a variety of food outlets and a bar. Live Music.
Free Buses running between Bridport and West Bay from 5pm. Plus a Fun Fair from 25th October – 2nd Nov.
Exeter, Crealy Great Adventure Park
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of October at 7pm
This event at Crealy is a special edition of the annual Fireworks Extravaganza to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the park. A special ‘8T9’ display will celebrate the year of 1989 in which the park first opened. There will be themes from famous movies, TV shows and music.
Selected rides will be open throughout the evening. Ticket required for the park to see the display.

Fireworks & Bonfire in Lyme Regis ~ Saturday 2rd November
Lyme Regis is the place to be on bonfire night. Join the crowds of people who come to enjoy a fantastic firework display over Lyme Bay and warm themselves by the bonfire on the beach. Fireworks at 6.30pm.
This event is free to watch but you are kindly asked that you give generously to the volunteer bucket collectors, notes are greatly appreciated to ensure future displays can run. Fireworks at 6.30pm, bonfire on the beach lit at 6.45pm.
Bridport Fireworks Display ~ Saturday 2nd November
Gates open 7pm (display starts 8pm)
The Fireworks Display is an annual event held at Bridport Leisure Centre, DT6 5LN run by Bridport Round Table.
Hot food and drink is available while you ooh and aah at the brilliant display. Entrance £4 on the gate (under 12s free)
Saturday 2nd November
From the beach you can enjoy Lyme Regis fireworks first at 6.30 and then Charmouth at 6.45pm . Bar and BBQ
Crewkerne ~POSTPONED TO SUNDAY 3rd November
The full bonfire night experience: food, candy floss, glow ropes & sparklers in Crewkerne.
Entrance from 6.30pm. Fire lighting 7.00pm. Firework display 7.30pm. £6 per adult, £2 per child, Under 5’s free

Colyton Fireworks Display ~ rescheduled Saturday 9th November
Bonfire and fireworks will be held at the Peace Memorial Playing Fields, Colyton.
Gates open from 6.15 pm – Bonfire lighting at 7.pm – Fireworks at 7.30 pm
Entry fee: £5 per adult, children under 16 free accompanied by an adult. Refreshments – BBQ – Parking available. Organised by Colyton Football Club
Whimple Cricket Club – Saturday 2 November
Sponsored by The Thirsty Farmer, this promises to be one of the best Fireworks displays you can see in Devon this year.
Tickets just £5 adults, £3 children or £15 family of 4. Tickets via Eventbrite (fees apply) or from The Thirsty Farmer and Whimple Village Shop.

Sidbury Fireworks Display ~ CANCELLED
Sidbury Village near Sidmouth will host fireworks display at Sidbury Manor Grounds. With fire performers, live music, licenced bar, BBQ and pig roast.

Sunday 3rd November – Exeter Westpoint Round Table Charity Fireworks Display
Exeter’s charity fundraising celebration for Bonfire Night at Westpoint. Expect great fireworks & music.
The theme of this year’s display will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
Enjoy the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon, a large fair with many thrilling rides, a range of food and drink stalls until 9pm. Ample free parking.

Exmouth Fireworks – Tuesday 5th November

Ottery St Mary ~ Tuesday 5th November
The World Famous Tar Barrel carrying and Bonfire – Every year for reasons lost in antiquity, the Flaming Tar Barrels are carried through the streets of Ottery St Mary to the delight of thousands of townsfolk and visitors.
Watch the world famous tradition of Ottery St Mary’s flaming Tar Barrels. With tons to do throughout the day, watch the firing of the rock cannons, the lighting of the giant bonfire, enjoy the funfair and eat from a great variety of food vendors. If you have younger children the advice is to go early and watch the less frantic children’s and ladies Tar Barrel runs. Parking is only allowed in official carparks and costs £10 per car. Organisers advise no dogs or children in pushchairs at the main event. Please note there are no fireworks at this event.

Hatch Charity Fireworks, Taunton ~
Tuesday November 5th
Held at Taunton Racecourse in association with Taunton’s 107.8 Tone FM
Gates Open 5 pm – Display 6:30 pm
Traditional bonfire night treats, including music, a licensed bar, children’s rides, hog roast, fish and chips, jacket potatoes and of course, a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to music.

Chard Rugby Club ~ Tuesday 5th November
There is always a great time to be had at Chard Rugby Club. A lovely display in the centre of Chard, Chard RFC has a reputation for hosting one of the best firework displays in the area thanks to firestorm pyrotechnics and their professional display team.
Doors open from 6pm with BBQ, good & drinks available. Please support the club’s youth section and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Beaminster St Mary’s Academy PTFA ~ Friday 8th November
Beaminster St Mary’s Academy PTFA presents Beaminster Big Bang. Gates open at 6.30pm. There will be refreshments, bbq, bar and merchandise available. This year’s event includes indoor stalls.
Please be aware that sparklers are not permitted.
Honiton – Saturday 9th
Honiton Town Youth Football Club finish off the season on Saturday 9th at the Mountbatten Sports & Social Club. Starts at 7pm. Entry by donation.
I know not everyone likes fireworks – especially pets. Here are some guidelines from the Kennel Club on how to prepare your dog for fireworks night that we will be trying out.
