Offwell (Near Honiton) ~ Friday 26th October

Offwell village bonfire and fireworks night starts off the season. Entrance £5 for adults, children under 14 free. Gates open at 6pm. Enjoy the children’s lantern parade at 6.30 pm Bar, BBQ and sweet stall. Fireworks at 7.15pm.

West Bay near Bridport ~
Saturday 27th October

Head to East Beach at Westbay from 5.30pm. Enjoy the fireworks, bonfire and live music.   The fireworks will start at 8pm.

This year’s Bonfire By The Beach promises to be bigger and better with more variety of food outlets and an outside bar.  Live Music with Nina Garcia, Out Of Order and Mama Feel Good. Free Busses running between Bridport and West Bay from 5pm.

Plus a Fun Fair, rides open 12 noon – 8pm, 20th – 27th Oct.

Exeter, Crealy Great Adventure Park

Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th October. See October Half Term out with a bang with the fantastic Firework Spectacular. Marvel at the explosions in the sky for this end of season fireworks display. There will be live music from 5pm to get you in the party mood. Selected rides will stay open until late and the park will be open for a while after the display.  We were lucky enough to be invited a few years ago and it really was a great display. Ticket required for the park to see the display.

Beaminster Fireworks 2018

Beaminster St Mary’s Academy PTFA ~ Friday 2nd November

Beaminster St Mary’s Academy PTFA presents Beaminster Big Bang.  Gates open at 6.30pm. There will be refreshments, bbq, bar and merchandise available.

Please be aware that sparklers are not permitted.

Fireworks & Bonfire in Lyme Regis ~ Saturday 3rd November

Lyme Regis is the place to be on bonfire night. Join the crowds of people who come to enjoy a fantastic firework display over Lyme Bay and warm themselves by the bonfire on the beach. Fireworks at 6.30pm.

This event is free to watch but you are kindly asked that you give generously to the volunteer bucket collectors,  notes are greatly appreciated to ensure future displays can run. Organised by the Lyme Regis Carnival Team – more information here.

The Fireworks Display is an annual event held at Bridport Leisure Centre, DT6 5LN run by Bridport Round Table

Hot food and drink is available while you ooh and aah at the brilliant display. Entrance £4 (under 12s free)

Yeovil Showground ~ Saturday 3rd November

Looks like a huge event! 5.00pm – Gates Open, 6:15pm – Bonfire Lit
Live Music at 6.45pm – Snakebyte Live on Stage

Followed by RN Volunteer Band from HMS Heron; the full ensemble will perform until the end of the show!

8:15pm – Fireworks Show Starts

Crewkerne ~ Saturday 3rd November

The full bonfire night experience: food, candy floss, glow ropes & sparklers in Crewkerne.

Dunkeswell Fireworks Display ~ Saturday 3rd November

At Dunkeswell Airfield near Honiton – Gates open at 6.30pm Fireworks at 7.30pm – organised by the village, donations on the gate which fund the fireworks.

Colyton Fireworks Display ~ Saturday 3rd November

Bonfire and fireworks will be held at the Peace Memorial Playing Fields, Colyton.

Details TBC – Gates open from 6.30 pm –  Bonfire lighting at 7.30 pm –  Fireworks at 8 pm

Entry fee: £5 per adult, children under 14 free accompanied by an adult.   Refreshments – BBQ – Parking available. Organised by Colyton Football Club

Honiton Fireworks Display ~  – tbc

Honiton Town Youth Football Club will host a fireworks display. Free entry, donations appreciated.

Sidbury Fireworks Display ~ Saturday 3rd November

Sidbury Village near Sidmouth  will host fireworks display at Sidbury Manor Grounds. With fire performers, live music, licenced bar, BBQ and pig roast. Gates open at 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7.15pm.  Entrance advance tickets £6 adults, £4 children.

Axminster Cloakham Lawns
~ Sunday 4th November

Enjoy fun fair rides and food stands while you wait for the display in Axminster –  always a great local event.

Fireworks display at Cloakham Lawns and Halloween Party including children’s fancy dress competition.

Gates open 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm fireworks at 6pm.

BBQ and stalls as well as a fun fair.  Adults £4, children £2, under 5s free. (tbc)

Exmouth Fireworks 2018

Ottery St Mary ~ Monday  5th November

The World Famous Tar Barrel carrying and Bonfire – Every year for reasons lost in antiquity, the Flaming Tar Barrels are carried through the streets of Ottery St Mary to the delight of thousands of townsfolk and visitors.

Watch the world famous tradition of Ottery St Mary’s flaming Tar Barrels. With tons to do throughout the day, watch the firing of the rock cannons, the lighting of the giant bonfire, enjoy the funfair and eat from a great variety of food vendors. If you have younger children the advice is to go early and watch the less frantic children’s and ladies Tar Barrel runs. Organisers advise no dogs or children in pushchairs at the main event. Please note there are no fireworks at this event.

Held at Taunton Racecourse – in association with Taunton’s 107.8 Tone FM

Gates Open 5 pm – Display 6:30 pm

Traditional bonfire night treats, including music, a licensed bar, children’s rides, hog roast, fish and chips, jacket potatoes and of course, a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to music.

Raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and a number of other local organisations.

Exeter Westpoint Round Table Charity Fireworks Display

Exeter’s charity fundraising celebration for Bonfire Night at Westpoint. Expect great fireworks & music.

The theme of this year’s display will be Mystical and Magical

As well as being the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon, there is also a large fair with many thrilling rides, a range of food and drink stalls until 9pm. Ample free parking.

Please plan to arrive on site by 6:45pm at the latest, fireworks go off at 7:30pm. Sparklers are not permitted at this event.

I know not everyone likes fireworks –  especially pets. Here are some guidelines from the Kennel Club on how to prepare your dog for fireworks night that we will be trying out.
