There are some great fireworks displays in Devon and the South West of England. This post covers East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset from West Bay to Exeter.
Please check individual websites for tickets, prices and timings as not all information was published at time of writing. Remember these events are raising money for charity or are self funding, most are ticketed or maybe cash only entrance.

30th October 2026
Woodbury Park near Exmouth – it’s fireworks display is back with a bang!
Gates open at 17:00 with Firework Display from 19:00 pm. Advance tickets only.

Offwell nr Honiton
Wednesday xxth October 2026
Join the locals of Offwell for this fundraising event held during half term. bonfire and fireworks as well as a bar, hot food and bouncy castle. Gates open 6:15, display at 7:30.

Exeter and East Devon firework Displays

With live music, an incredible firework display, BBQ and plenty of beer flowing. Note advance tickets only for this event (it usually sells out). Adults £17 Children £15 More details HERE.
Topsham Rugby Club
Saturday 7th November 2026
Gates open at 5.30pm with the firework display at 7.30pm from British Champions Sonic
Note there’s no parking available onsite apart from disabled parking (reserve in advance)

Sidbury Fireworks Display
Saturday 7th November 2026
Sidbury Village near Sidmouth will host it’s annual fireworks display at Sidbury Manor Grounds. With live music, licenced bar and food .
Gates open at 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7.15pm. Entrance advance tickets 2026 price tbc £11.55 adults, £8.30 children.

Exeter Westpoint Fireworks & Drone Display
Saturday 7th November 2026
Exeter’s Round Table charity fundraising celebration for Bonfire Night at Westpoint.
For the first time, 300 drones will be part of the display, some will be carry their own pyrotechnics and paint giant moving images across the night sky. The drones will be woven into the largest pyro-musical fireworks display in the South West, all choreographed toto a galactic soundtrack by Sonic Fireworks, Plus funfair rides, food outlets & bars, indoor toilets.

Westpoint has lots of free parking or there’s a shuttle bus options. Please plan to arrive on site by 7pm at the latest, fireworks at approx 7:30pm. Sparklers are not permitted at this event.
Whimple Cricket Club
Saturday 7th November 2026
Bonfire night and Fireworks return to Whimple Cricket Club. This is a popular display. Fireworks provided by Sonic Fireworks.
Tickets £9 adults, £6.50 children or £27 family of 4. Tickets in advance HERE: (Eventbrite fees added).
Gates open from 5.30, Bonfire lit at 6.30. Gates will close at 7pm for Fireworks to start at 7.30. Bar, food stalls available on the night, plus clubhouse disco.
Bridwell Park nr Cullompton
Sunday 1st November 2026
Enjoy the annual Bridwell Bonfire & Fireworks Celebration. Featuring roaming entertainment; an exciting Fire Show; Food & Drink Stalls; traditional bonfire; and culminating in a spectacular Pyro Musical Fireworks Show at 7pm.

Exmouth RNLI is hosting the biggest fireworks display in Exmouth. Food and drink vendors.

Firework Displays in West Dorset 2026
West Bay Fireworks near Bridport
Saturday 31st October 2026
Head to East Beach at Westbay from 4pm for an evening or entertainment. Enjoy the fireworks, bonfire and live music.
Bonfire By The Beach is a popular event with a variety of food outlets and a bar. Donations to Bridport Round Table – can be made online.
Buses running between Bridport and West Bay from 5pm to 9.30pm. Plus a Fun Fair from over half term.
Fireworks & Bonfire in Lyme Regis
Saturday 7th November 2026
Lyme Regis is the place to be on bonfire night. Join the crowds of people who come to enjoy a fantastic firework display over Lyme Bay and warm themselves by the bonfire on the beach. Fireworks at 6.30pm.
This event is free to watch but you are kindly asked that you give generously to the volunteer bucket collectors, notes are greatly appreciated to ensure future displays can run. Fireworks at 6.30pm, bonfire on the beach lit at 6.45pm.
Broadwindsor

Hosted by the Cricket Club this is a free entrance display. Bar & BBQ.
Entrance from 5.30pm. Fireworks at 7pm.

Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels
Remember Remember

The World Famous Tar Barrel carrying and Bonfire – Every year for reasons lost in antiquity, the Flaming Tar Barrels are carried through the streets of Ottery St Mary to the delight of thousands of townsfolk and visitors.
Watch the world famous tradition of Ottery St Mary’s flaming Tar Barrels. With tons to do throughout the day, watch the firing of the rock cannons, the lighting of the giant bonfire, enjoy the funfair and eat from a great variety of food vendors. If you have younger children the advice is to go early and watch the less frantic children’s and ladies Tar Barrel runs. Parking is only allowed in official carparks and costs £10 per car. Organisers advise no dogs or children in pushchairs at the main event. Please note there are no fireworks at this event.

Crewkerne Fireworks

The full bonfire night experience: enjoy food, candy floss, glow ropes & sparklers in Crewkerne.
Gates Open 6:30pm, Fire Lighting 7:00pm & Fireworks 7:30pm

Parking available. By the Stagecoach Inn, Station Road. Organised by Crewkerne Rotary Club
Now don’t forget the sparklers (check if they are allowed at public events). Top tip – get the kids to wear gloves or even poke the sparkler into a carrot to make it feel even saver.

Summer Fireworks
Lyme Regis -summer August
Lyme Regis harbour is a fantastic place to watch fireworks. Once again you will be treated to a display organised jointly by Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival and Lyme Regis RNLI. Funds collected on the night divided equally between the two organisations. Starts at 10pm. Find lots more summer events in Lyme Regis here.
British Fireworks Championships – August
Who makes the best fireworks? Head to Plymouth in August to find out and watch spectacular pyrotechnic shows light up Plymouth Sound. Six top firework companies battle it out over two nights, each putting on an awe-inspiring ten minute display in an attempt to be crowned the winner.
The world famous British Firework Championships is each year on Plymouth’s waterfront during August.
Fireworks in Beer -August
With it’s own natural arena the display as part of Beer Regatta Week is sure to be a good one. There are lots of great viewing points from the Coast Path, Jubilee Gardens, top of Sea Hill and Common. Starts at 9.45pm
