Great Presents for Active Kids from Wicked Uncle
It’s great to be getting back into seeing family and friends for birthdays and Christmas. I have always loved giving presents and seek out ideas that I think the recipient will genuinely enjoy whatever their age. My own children were spoilt by me, not necessarily in the amount of money we’d spend but just giving lots of little things. For me stocking filler type presents are for birthdays as well as Christmas. For young children having things to unwrap is fun, even if it’s just a bar of chocolate or some colouring pens. That said, finding great presents for active kids is certainly quite a challenge.
Now I have young nephews and nieces, and have to admit choosing presents for them does not get any easier. There’s a fine line between something fun and frivolous and then the sensible me that likes to make sure gifts are also a bit useful.
If you want to be a cool aunt or a super grandparent that gives great presents, it can be a struggle to keep up with the latest crazes.
Fun Presents for Active Kids
Most children like to be kept active and entertained, whether it’s indoors or outdoors.
I think it universally agreed that too much screen time is not a good thing, so it’s great to give gifts that encourage younger children to be creative or get outside.

The great news is that I’ve teamed up with Wicked Uncle, who offer all of these sorts of gifts for children. Most are aimed at kids up to the age of about 13, but there are fun gifts suitable for adults as well.
Check out these mega bounce balls and this clever fold up frisbee. Thankfully some classic gifts don’t change that much.
Great Gift for Busy Hands and Minds
We all need a bit of down time and craft kits and puzzles are a great option. There’s jewellery making sets, a tie dye t-shirt kit, a solar powered robot and baking kits. Other ideas are toys that encourage active minds like puzzle and brain teasers.
To make it even easier, presents on Wicked Uncle are sorted by age and activity type, so you can search for the kind of thing you know your young person will love. Alongside well known toys, there are all sorts of unusual gift ideas that will surely put a smile on their faces.
To be honest I’m pretty keen on these fun odd puppy socks for myself and there’s cat ones too (they even go up to my size!).
Gift Wrapping and Cards
The more I browse through the online catalogue, the more I can see that would appeal to different friends children or family members. What’s even better is that if you are sending a gift direct to someone there is a gift wrapping option and card option that makes sending something direct in the post even better.
