Cherries in West Bay has now closed. There is a lovely Cherries Cafe in Abbotsbury to enjoy instead.

Explore West Bay
There are lots of cafes in West Bay and it is a lovely coastal fishing village to look around.
Enjoy the Discovery Centre, a small chapel converted into an interactive information centre where you can learn about the Jurassic Coast and history of West Bay. I have included the Discovery Centre on my Wet Weather Days Out in West Dorset guide.
A walk on the beach, round the harbour and out on the harbour wall to admire the amazing Jurassic Coast scenery is highly recommended.
West Bay is buggy and wheelchair friendly.
There is also an excellent adventure play park at the entrance to West Bay by the large long stay car park.
